1950s Collection – Natural Origins
Signed by Beniamino Mandruzzato™
The 1950s Collection – Natural Origins marks the beginning of the artistic journey of Beniamino Mandruzzato, founder of the historic Mandruzzato glassworks. These works in genuine Murano glass are distinguished by their fluid and harmonious lines, inspired by the movement of water and the luminous reflections that sweep across Venice. The rippled surfaces and plays of light—the famous gibigiane—create dynamic and refined effects, evoking the natural and organic beauty of the lagoon. Each creation represents the perfect union of art, nature, and the Venetian glassmaking tradition.

The Venetian Inspiration
Venice is Beniamino Mandruzzato’s muse. Not only water and light, but also the city’s most authentic elements become a source of creativity. The forcole, hand-carved to hold gondola oars, are the emblem of balance and movement that inspires the forms of this collection. From these inspirations emerge vases and sculptures with sinuous, sculptural lines, combining functionality, aesthetics, and traditional craftsmanship. Each piece is a tribute to Venetian culture and its inexhaustible ability to transform matter into art.

Nature as Teacher
“Nature always suggests something to us.” – Beniamino Mandruzzato This philosophy guides every creation in the 50s Collection – Le Origini Naturali. Beniamino shapes glass inspired by the rhythms of the natural world, transforming light, water, and movement into elegant and harmonious forms. Each vase is made entirely in Murano, according to the ancient techniques of Venetian master glassmakers, and represents the authenticity of the finest Made in Italy.

Authenticity and Tradition Murano
Mandruzzato™ pieces are synonymous with excellence and original Murano artistic glass. Each creation is unique, handmade, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and marked with the Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark, an official guarantee of provenance and quality. Buying a Mandruzzato creation means taking home a piece of Venetian history, a dialogue between tradition and innovation, past and present.
