How to reach us
From Venice
To reach Fondamenta Navagero 54/B, 30141 Murano (VE) from Venice (historic center), you must use the vaporetto because Murano is a separate island.
✅ 1. Starting point in Venice
Choose a central ACTV stop such as Ferrovia (Santa Lucia Station) or Piazzale Roma.
✅ 2. Take the vaporetto to Murano
Line 4.1 or 4.2: circular (passes through Fondamente Nove and arrives in Murano).
Line 3: direct from Piazzale Roma or Ferrovia to Murano Colonna (daytime only).
Line 12: from Fondamente Nove, direct to Murano and Burano.
📍 Tip: If you’re near San Marco, take line 4.1 or 4.2 from San Zaccaria.
✅ 3. Get off at the correct stop on Murano
The closest stop to Fondamenta Navagero 54/B is:
Murano Navagero (some buses stop here)
or
Murano Colonna (Murano’s main stop, about a 5-7 minute walk).
✅ 4. Walk to Fondamenta Navagero
If you get off at Murano Navagero → your destination is a few meters on the left.
If you get off at Murano Colonna → proceed along Fondamenta dei Vetrai, then turn onto Fondamenta Navagero. It’s about a 500-600 meter walk (7 minutes).
⏱ Total time
From Piazzale Roma or the train station: 25-35 minutes by vaporetto + 5-7 minutes on foot.
From San Marco: 35-45 minutes by vaporetto.
💡 Tip: You can buy a single ACTV ticket (€9.50) or a day pass if you plan on making other trips.
From Punta Sabbioni
To reach Fondamenta Navagero 54/B, Murano (VE) from Punta Sabbioni, you must take the vaporetto because Murano is an island in Venice.
✅ 1. Starting point: Punta Sabbioni
You are at the ACTV landing stage at Punta Sabbioni.
✅ 2. Take the vaporetto to Venice
There are no direct connections to Murano from Punta Sabbioni, so you must first get to Venice (Lido or San Zaccaria area):
ACTV Line 14: Punta Sabbioni → Lido S.M.E. → San Zaccaria (about 35-40 minutes).
Or Line 15: Punta Sabbioni → San Zaccaria (faster, about 30 minutes).
📍 Tip: Choose Line 15 if available; it’s direct.
✅ 3. From San Zaccaria to Murano
From San Zaccaria, take:
Line 4.1 or 4.2 (circular) → Murano Navagero or Murano Colonna stop.
Alternatively, go to Fondamente Nove (15-minute walk or vaporetto) and take Line 12 directly to Murano.
✅ 4. Get off at the correct stop on Murano
Murano Navagero (closest to Fondamenta Navagero 54/B)
Or Murano Colonna (main stop, 5-7 minutes on foot).
✅ 5. Walking
If you get off at Navagero: you’re already on the fondamenta, number 54/B, and a few meters on your left.
If you get off at Colonna: walk along Fondamenta dei Vetrai, then turn toward Fondamenta Navagero (about 500-600 m, 7 min walk).

Punta Sabbioni → San Zaccaria: 30-40 min
San Zaccaria → Murano Navagero: 30 min
Walking time: 5-7 min
Total: ~1 hour 10 min
💡 Tickets: You’ll need an ACTV ticket (€9.50 per journey if you don’t have a pass).
You can also consider a day ticket (24 hours, €25) if you need to return.
From Marco Polo Airport to Piazzale Roma
✅ 1. From Marco Polo Airport to Piazzale Roma, there are two main options:
Option A – Bus (cheaper and faster)
ACTV Line 5 (urban bus)
Time: 20-25 minutes
Cost: €10 (one way)
ATVO Express (shuttle bus)
Time: 20 minutes
Cost: €10-12
Both go directly to Piazzale Roma.
Option B – Water Taxi or Alilaguna
Private water taxi → Piazzale Roma (very expensive, around €120-140).
Alilaguna Orange Line → Piazzale Roma (only some routes)
Time: approximately 1 hour
Cost: €15
✅ Tip
Take Bus Line 5 or ATVO Express: this is the quickest and cheapest option.
From Piazzale Roma to Murano
✅ 1. Departure: Piazzale Roma (Venice)
You are at the Venice bus and tram terminal.
✅ 2. Piazzale Roma → Murano
You have two main options:
Option A – Vaporetto Line 3 (recommended)
Direct line from Piazzale Roma to Murano.
Arrival stop: Murano Colonna.
Duration: approximately 20 minutes.
Frequent departures throughout the day.
Option B – Vaporetto Line 4.1 or 4.2
Circular lines with multiple stops.
Arrival stop: Murano Colonna (or Murano Navagero, if available).
Duration: approximately 30-35 minutes.
✅ 3. Murano → Fondamenta Navagero 54/B
If you get off at Murano Navagero: you are already on the fondamenta, look for number 54/B on your left.
If you get off at Murano Colonna:
Go along Fondamenta dei Vetrai.
Continue to Fondamenta Navagero.
Distance: approximately 500-600 meters, 6-7 minutes on foot.
✅ Total journey time from Piazzale Roma
Vaporetto: 20-35 minutes (depending on the line chosen).
On foot: 5-7 minutes.
➡ Total journey time: 25-40 minutes.
From Treporti
✅ 1. Departure: Treporti (ACTV landing stage)
Go to the ACTV landing stage in Treporti.
✅ 2. Vaporetto Treporti → Murano
Take ACTV Line 13.
Route: Treporti → Burano → Mazzorbo → Murano (Faro).
Duration: approximately 45-50 minutes.
Frequency: runs every 30-60 minutes (check the ACTV timetable).
📍 The arrival stop is Murano Faro, the main stop for external connections.
✅ 3. From Murano Faro to Fondamenta Navagero 54/B
From Murano Faro you can:
Walk to Fondamenta Navagero (about 1.3 km – 15 minutes on foot).
Or take a vaporetto line 4.1 or 4.2 to Murano Navagero or Murano Colonna (5 minutes).
Walking route:
From the lighthouse, walk along Fondamenta Serenella → Fondamenta Manin → continue to Fondamenta Navagero.
✅ Total journey time
Treporti → Murano Faro: 45-50 minutes.
On foot: 15 minutes (or 5 minutes with an internal vaporetto).
➡ Total journey time: approximately 1 hour (without stops in Venice).
💡 Tickets:
ACTV vaporetto single ride: €9.50.
If you plan a return trip: ACTV 24-hour pass €25.
Traveling in the Lagoon
ACTV Fares (Vaporetto & Urban Network)
Single “Rete Unica” Ticket – €9.50
Valid for 75 minutes from first validation on the entire urban network (water, bus, tram, People Mover), excluding the Alilaguna, Casinò, Fusina, and Clodia services. Also valid for travel between islands such as Murano and Burano.
Special fares:
Children under 6: travel free.
Disabled passengers (in wheelchairs): €1.50 ticket, with any accompanying person free.

ACTV travel tickets can be obtained through:

Remember to validate your ticket at the start of each journey or each time you change vehicles, even if purchased via the app.
