The Mandruzzato™ Contemporary Collection represents the intersection of sculptural art, innovation, and Murano tradition.
Designed by Alessandro Mandruzzato, a fourth-generation master glassmaker, this collection redefines the concept of artistic glass: works that transcend form and become emotion, light, and movement.

A Life Between Glass, Art, and Innovation

Born in Murano in 1970, Alessandro Mandruzzato™ grew up immersed in the family workshop, where he learned the magic of glassmaking from an early age.
At just 15, he abandoned his studies to devote himself entirely to the art of Murano glass, transforming tradition into passion and personal exploration.
Over the years, Mandruzzato experimented with and reinvented traditional grinding and engraving techniques, blending family heritage with modern technology.
In 2000, he took over the helm of the company, leading it into a new era of artistic experimentation and technical innovation.

Tradition and Technology: The Sculpture of Living Glass

Stone grinders, diamond wheels, cork, and polishes become instruments of a personal and poetic language:
Alessandro shapes glass like a living sculpture, capable of capturing time and emotion.
Each work reflects an autobiographical fragment, a dialogue between matter and feeling, strength and fragility.

International Exhibitions and Awards

Alessandro Mandruzzato™’s creations have been exhibited in world-renowned galleries and museums in cities such as Venice, Milan, Paris, Moscow, Dubai, Beijing, New York, and London.
Among his most famous works:

2010 – “Anghélos”, the largest glass angel in the world (7 metres wide, 4 metres high).

2011 – “Diva”, permanently exhibited at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg.

2011 – “Embrace”, created for the International Glass Art Symposium and now kept at the Library of Alexandria in Egypt.

2012 – “Globo Tricolore” Award, recognition by the Council of Ministers as Italian Excellence in the World.

2015 – “Árbol del Viento”, exhibited at the Murano Glass Museum.

Today, Alessandro collaborates with world-renowned designers and artists, bringing the Murano tradition to the international contemporary design scene.
His works are sought after by major luxury houses such as Dior, Fendi, and John Salibello, symbolizing a perfect union between art, fashion, and Italian design.
Each sculpture in the Contemporary Collection is handmade in Murano, signed, and certified, a true testament to a unique craftsmanship.
