Oriana Fallaci Award

The event is dedicated to the life of Oriana, the woman, the journalist and the writer.

The Oriana Fallaci Memorial, promoted by Armando Manocchia, It is intended as a tribute that, through key milestones, retraces her life, celebrating the author who fully embodied a preponderant and compelling presence in the publishing world, with an essential focus on journalism and literature, which for her always represented two sides of the same coin. Each of Fallaci’s books was a success, an event, a publishing sensation in modern and contemporary Italian literature, a true phenomenon in the field of communication, especially represented by her writings after September 11th.

For years now, Alessandro has collaborated with the creators of the ORIAN FALLACI award. The award, created by Murano glass master Alessandro Mandruzzato, features an inkwell, a feather, and a butterfly, symbolizing Oriana Fallaci’s journalistic career.
